On wings I flew into the night
Without the least concern.
Past worldly skies and Heaven's gates,
My joy was overturned.
I'd gone so far without a care,
The hardest lesson learned.
I gave my soul to kiss the stars,
But in the end I burned.
Try to tempt me with lies from a slithering tongue,
But my world is not Eden.
I will not be swayed to eat of fruits forbidden,
Made to be robbed of all the innocence I was given.
You fallen devil, one lost in shame, one cast to the lowest depths
Dare comes to me to speak false words in softly spoken breaths.
Lowly Serpent, you aimed to deceive,
To have me damned eternally,
To tempt and take control of me,
But not one word did I believe.

Unanswered Prayer to Dream
I once longed for my dreams to be undisturbed.
Now my fantasies,
And all their entities,
In woe have been submerged.
My pleasant world of hope and faith
Became a nightmare dissipated in darkness,
Born of haunting sorrow and taunted by the wraith.
And so the gloom emerged from my unanswered prayer.
Now I despised
With shutted eyes,
The dream turned to despair.

The Mask of False Identity
I used to wear a mask
And when pressed against my face,
I could hide my true identity.
The mask was decorated with deception
And with its own hideous personality,
It forced me to become hateful.
Yet I wore this mask,
Although grotesque to me,
To hide my flaws.
I wore this mask,
Which possessed and consumed me,
To protect me from the harsh judgment of others.
And,
as much as this powerful entity transformed me into a bring of negativity,
I could not remove it from my flesh.
Not until now.
Not until I summoned the courage within
To tear it away and live in truth.

From Your Daughter
Your downward spiral seems neverending.
Lonely Man, you've remedied your pain with liquor
And left your life and wellness pending.
Pouring poison in your glass without the slightest hesitation.
Doing so at every opportunity,
All to achieve the highest level of intoxication.
Will you ever attempt to end your addiction?
The one you've lost your freedom to.
The one that does not cure but adds to your affliction.

The Queen of Sorrow
I am the Queen of Sorrow.
Your majesty, they call me, of everpresent doom
Sitting on a throne of bones
My subjects soiled with death and gloom.
All my kingdom's filled with graves.
The earth requires peculiar thirst
Not drops of rain but blood it craves.
I gaze at this depressing land where good comes not tomorrow.
I rule this land of hellish fate,
forever Queen of Sorrow.

A Prayer to Dream
It is my prayer to dream dreams undisturbed.
Cast away the horrid souls who aim to haunt me while I sleep.
Let me dream
so I may escape the world and all its evil
And be surrounded by a new earth of heavenly qualities.
Let me dream
So, when I wake, my thoughts will dance with hope.
No heartbeat.
Body standing still amidst the darkened night.
All that trembles is the mind with most unpleasant thoughts
Almost as though insanity has caused this awful fright.
Yet I am not insane
Although that may be what it seems.
I fear a real and silent killer after his revenge.
He stalks me in my consciousness and even in my dreams.
It's he who's mad.
Seeking me for crimes I've done and counting my mistakes.
Judging my morality in utmost harshened ways.
His methods cruel and just the same for all the lives he takes.
No heartbeat still,
Only sounds of footsteps heard upon the floor so well.
It is that Deathly Angle here,

The Demons At My Door
Darkened shadows haunting me above my wooden door.
Hiding, lurking, taunting, smirking.
Shadows of the demons live, yet rotten to their core.
Hiding in the darkness with one horrible request.
Waiting, lurking, laughing, smirking,
waiting for the chance to carry out their evil quest,
to possess my soul in ways it's never been possessed.
Preying, lurking, taunting, smirking.
Preying on my spirit from that perch above the door.
I sensed all of the horror resting just above my door.
Haunting, lurking, taunting, smirking
stalking with a vegence causing fear to cross the floor.
Haunting with their blackened eyes of putrid vile deception
On wings I flew into the night
Without the least concern.

You’re much different now, a twisted form
A shadow being in this human storm
You’ve lost what was your saving grace
It’s gone, out of reach, torn from this place
And now your rage is growing fierce
The storms hit home, the walls pierced
Now it’s lost, tossed in the debris
It no longer matters, you and me
Trapped within the confines of my mind
Alone with my hung soul
Scared and shuttering in the corner
Waiting for an embrace from the one
I'll wait for her forever
But I'm frightened by my thoughts
I close my eyes tighter and tighter
But I still see everything
Please don't make me wait
Release me from my prison
I long to be shrouded in your light
My darkness is much too cold
say my name, the private one only you use
it liquefies my heart and singes my soul
words beyond worlds spill from your lips
wrapping me in coils of warmth, holding me to you
ensnared in your mind and blessedly trapped
you have caught me in your web of language
licking, tonguing at my core when you speak
wrote me into your heart and absorbed me totally
in sync
in love
in never ending unbroken moments of blissful thought
tickle my tender thinking with your oral gymnastics
and leave me begging, thirsting for more
say my name, so privately quiet to us
whispering violently, you make me tremble in need
speak for me and send my mind
